For students who have been offered a Camvol placement, this is a timeline for helping you plan for the summer. Please make a note of these key dates, and try and organise your plans well in advance.

1. Monday 13th March 2017

   Deadline for Camvol refundable deposit fee of £200 for the first batch of applicants. Send cheque to Shiraz Vira, 139 Bramley Way, Hardwick, CB23 7XE. Make cheque out to ‘Camvol’.

2. Monday 10th April 2017

   Deadline to apply for Camvol CMEDT Commonwealth Travelling Scholarship.

3. Wednesday 19th April 2017

4. Easter vacation

   Plan/book flights, organise vaccinations, travel and health insurance, and pre-paid currency cards for your trip.

5. Wednesday, 26th April 2017

   Camvol Pre–Orientation Day. This is a compulsory talk to help you plan your trip to India/answer any queries. Venue to be given nearer the date.

6. Monday 1st May 2017

   Decisions for Camvol CMEDT Commonwealth Travelling Scholarship.

7. June

   Visas! Think about applying for your Visas around now (for those aiming to reach India in July).

8. Monday 19th June 2017

   Camvol Orientation Day (10am-2pm). Compulsory to attend. Venue to be given nearer the date.
